Being raised in the smallish town of Kenosha, Wisconsin, I grew up on cheese, brats, and the Packers. But I've always been a big city girl. In high school I was a proud music nerd and part of every choir humanly possible while also taking voice, piano, and dance classes, and doing theatre after school.
Then I headed south to graduate from the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. I worked professionally at the Equity Jeff-award winning Porchlight Music Theatre, collaborated with Lookingglass Theatre Company and the Chicago Children's Choir, and performed in the longest running Broadway in Chicago show to date: Million Dollar Quartet. I can be heard on student reference recordings for Music Theatre International, I've performed at various cabarets in NYC and I just completed my fourth cruise contract where I increased my "countries I've visited" tally to 65! I was also a member of the USO Show Troupe where I entertained our brave men and women in the military nationwide. |
